Community Standards: This committee enforces deed restrictions regarding structural maintenance as well as maintenance of fences and yards, including lawns, shrubs and trees. This committee acts as a liaison between the property management company and the individual homeowners, and has responsibility for enforcing these types of deed restrictions.
Architectural Review: This committee enforces deed restrictions concerning structural improvements to homes in Country Place. Additions to homes, as well as modification of roof material and color, paint colors of the homes as prescribed in the deed restrictions and covenants, fence material and color, modification to driveways and/or sidewalks, etc. This committee reviews the applications that home owners are required, by the restrictive covenants, to submit to the Country Place Community Association prior to commencement of the project. This committee strives to reach an amicable solution to every request. Newsletter: This committee solicits advertising to help underwrite the cost of producing the newsletter as well as articles and ideas for content that may be of interest to Country Place residents. This committee is responsible for assembling the newsletter in ‘print-ready’ form to the publishing company.
Social/Community Events: This committee plans and encourages social activities and community awareness in an effort to enhance the quality of family life and promote pride in the community. Events have included the regularly scheduled community-wide garage sales and ‘The Spring Fling.’
Security: This committee serves as a liaison between the community and local authorities for non-emergency safety and security issues. The committee also coordinates scheduling of the neighborhood patrols by the off-duty Sheriff's deputy we hired. (Note: For emergency situations, please call 911 directly.)
Membership: This committee promotes member participation through items in the newsletter, articles in the local newspapers, and word of mouth. This committee also acts as the coordinator for members who wish to become involved with the association.
Budget & Finance Committee: This committee reviews the monthly financial statements submitted by the property management company, ensures the accuracy of the data, and makes recommendations regarding budget items, programs and other expenditures.
Website Committee: This committee maintains and updates the content on the Country Place Community Association Web site to ensure that information about the community, board activities, and important forms are available to all residents. Committee members also regularly review the site's functionality, provide recommendations, and implement changes and enhancements.
